Our institution offers both the endoscopic-assisted strip craniectomy and open treatments (such as fronto-orbital advancement) to patients with craniosynostosis. For the open operation, I control the postoperative head shape outcome; however, in the endoscopic procedure the orthotist dictates the head shape outcome.
